Reimagined from within
For the PHöNIX Final Edition, the acoustic design has been comprehensively refined.
At its core lies a completely new crossover, a newly tuned driver configuration, and four
newly implemented low-frequency drivers based on a more modern generation. Every
element of this refinement serves a single purpose: to bring greater focus, depth and
expression to the unmistakable PHöNIX experience.
The result is a presentation that feels more resolved and more deliberate, while
preserving the emotional identity that defines the PHöNIX.

Crafted for a final statement
The PHöNIX Final Edition introduces a striking new design created to reflect the
significance of this last chapter.
Its newly developed faceplate is finished in an elegant gunmetal gray, giving the
monitor a darker, more refined and contemporary presence. Beneath the sapphire
glass, a precisely structured black diamond-cut surface is revealed, framed by a rich
purple ring and centered by the purple PHöNIX emblem.
The interplay of color, texture and light creates a look that feels bold yet sophisticated –
a design language shaped by depth, contrast and precision.
Distinctive at first glance, and unmistakably Vision Ears.
Greater depth. Greater precision. Greater presence.
The PHöNIX Final Edition is built around a meticulously refined acoustic concept,
combining 13 balanced armature drivers with a newly reworked 5-way crossover and an
updated tuning philosophy. The final tuning introduces a more sculpted and spacious
low-end foundation.
The result is a presentation of remarkable balance and expression: Sub-bass reaches
deeper, adding weight, extension and authority to the presentation, while the low mids
and upper bass have been carefully rebalanced to create a more open, controlled and
articulate overall image.
This gives the sound a remarkable sense of structure and composure. Notes emerge
with greater definition, the stage feels more clearly organized, and the entire
presentation gains a stronger sense of immediacy and expression.
Powerful yet refined. Controlled yet emotional. A sound signature that honors the
legacy of the PHöNIX while revealing it in a deeply considered form. The final
expression of a truly iconic sound signature – refined in its structure, mature in its
control, and unmistakable in its character.
– Lows: For the PHöNIX Final Edition, the low-frequency section has been refined with
four newly implemented balanced armature drivers featuring an advanced
diaphragm construction and a newly reworked tuning.
Through a specialized manufacturing process, the diaphragm achieves increased
structural rigidity and improved control over its movement behavior. As a result, the
driver achieves a significantly improved low-frequency extension, maintaining a
flatter and more linear response even below 30 Hz — a range where traditional
balanced armature designs typically exhibit roll-off. This contributes to a low-end
reproduction that combines enhanced sub-bass authority with exceptional precision
and control, forming a stable and well-defined foundation for the overall sound
signature.
Sub-bass reaches deeper, adding weight, extension, and authority to the
presentation, while the low mids and upper bass have been carefully rebalanced. The
result is a low-end response that feels more focused, more controlled, and more
precise – powerful in foundation, yet clean in its contour.
– Mids: The midrange of the PHöNIX Final Edition remains true to the unmistakable
character of the original, preserving its vivid detail and remarkable naturalness.
With the newly refined low-frequency foundation, the mids now unfold with greater
openness and space, allowing voices and instruments to breathe more freely. The
result is a presentation that feels more spacious, more detailed, and even more
natural in its expression.
– Mid-highs: The mid-highs of the PHöNIX Final Edition are powered by four BA
drivers, giving the upper range of the frequencies a lustrous and harmonic imaging.
The richness of details is breathtakingly uncompromising. The highs are unfolding
with a natural timbre, slightly sparkling and at all time not exaggerating.
– Highs: The highs of the PHöNIX Final Edition shine with a silky brilliance, combining
openness with an especially smooth and refined character. They bring air and light to
the presentation with effortless grace, revealing the finest details while remaining
natural, elegant, and controlled.
Custom made cable
For the final edition of our beloved PHöNIX, we have developed a completely new cable
that is perfectly matched to the sound configuration. The cable is a premium 22AWG
cable using our own custom-developed 7N ultra-pure single crystal copper to deliver a
rich, highly musical, and naturally analog sound signature. At its core is an advanced
hybrid conductor design consisting of 109 individual cores per conductor, arranged in a
sophisticated 9 + 9 + 1 architecture: nine bundles of 7/0.053 mm strands, nine bundles of
5/0.063 mm strands, and a dedicated 0.13 mm solid core conductor. This mixed strand
diameter Litz structure combines multiple conductor geometries to optimize signal
transmission, reduce dielectric loss, and improve overall electrical performance.
The fine 7-strand bundles are optimized for superior high-frequency reproduction,
minimizing skin and proximity effects to enhance resolution, airiness, and harmonic
extension. The larger 5-strand bundles lower DC resistance for effortless low-frequency
delivery, adding greater bass impact, control, and midrange richness. Complementing
both is the solid core conductor, which contributes additional density, tonal weight, and
natural body across the low and mid frequencies. Together, the hybrid conductor
architecture achieves lower AC resistance and inductance, improved phase consistency,
and faster transient response for an exceptionally balanced and coherent presentation.
Sonically, the cable delivers deep and authoritative bass, rich and refined mids, dense
and emotional vocals, and smooth, extended highs with remarkable clarity and natural
harmonic brilliance. The result is a presentation that combines technical precision with
an engaging, emotional character. Completing the design are gold-plated oxygen-free
copper 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors and a gold-plated OFC 4.4 mm plug with a ternary
alloy base, ensuring excellent conductivity, low contact resistance, and long-term
durability.

The final opportunity
The PHöNIX Final Edition is more than a limited release. It is the last opportunity to own
this extraordinary monitor in a form created specifically to mark its conclusion.
For collectors, enthusiasts, and those who have long admired the singular character of
the PHöNIX, this edition represents the culmination of a story that will not be repeated.
Limited to 250 pieces worldwide. When they are gone, the story ends.
Comparison with the PHöNIX Original and Limited Edition
If you are familiar with the PHöNIX Original Edition or the PHöNIX Limited Edition, the
PHöNIX Final Edition will immediately feel recognizable — but more complete, more
grounded, and more spatially defined.
The core identity remains untouched: the same beautifully natural midrange, the same
effortless resolution, and the same refined, non-fatiguing treble. Vocals and
instruments still carry that unmistakable PHöNIX realism and emotional connection.
Where the Final Edition sets itself apart is in its low-frequency foundation and overall
structure.
Compared to both predecessors, the bass now reaches noticeably deeper into the subbass, adding a sense of weight and authority that was previously more restrained. At
the same time, the mid-bass and lower mids have been carefully cleaned up and
rebalanced. The result is not simply “more bass,” but a more controlled, more defined,
and more supportive low-end that enhances the entire presentation without adding
warmth or thickness.
This change fundamentally impacts the perception of space and layering. The
soundstage feels more organized, more stable, and more dimensional. Notes emerge
with greater precision, and the separation between elements is clearer without
sounding clinical.

Compared to the PHöNIX Original Edition, the Final Edition feels:
– deeper and more extended in the low end
– less intimate, more open and structured
– cleaner in the lower mids, with improved separation
Compared to the PHöNIX Limited Edition, it goes one step further:
– more sub-bass authority and physicality
– greater sense of space and air
– a more effortless, natural flow despite higher technical performance
The midrange remains the emotional center, but now benefits from the improved
foundation — it breathes more freely, sounds more spacious, and gains subtle
improvements in micro-detail and realism.
The treble continues the PHöNIX tradition of refinement, but with a slightly more silky
openness and air, adding light and dimension without ever becoming sharp or
exaggerated.

The PHöNIX Final Edition is what both previous versions were pointing toward:
– the musicality and intimacy of the original
– the structure and technical refinement of the Limited Edition
– combined with a new level of low-end depth, spatial clarity, and overall composure
It doesn’t try to reinvent the PHöNIX — it completes it
