Description
The Chiara V is a five-driver BA system housed in a shell made from burlwood.
It sounds fantastic. But that’s not something you can talk, read, or write about. You have to hear it for yourself. And it certainly doesn’t sound the way you would expect a conventional all-BA system to sound. Perhaps it’s best to forget everything you think you know about them.
The shell’s shape is based on 500 individual ear measurements, originally collected for custom in-ear monitors. Using this data, we developed a universal fit that, for the vast majority of listeners, can actually outperform a true custom IEM with a hard plastic nozzle extending into the ear canal.
How is that possible? The ear canal changes shape as you move your jaw. A rigid custom nozzle can therefore affect the fit and seal, whereas a soft silicone tip can adapt more easily to the movements of your ear canal.
But ultimately, it’s not about the theory.
You have to hear the Chiara V for yourself and compare it with the alternatives. Only then might you discover what we already know: there are no alternatives.
It is completed by an Effect Audio Eros S cable. If already have a good cable you can buy without cable.
